I blogged to get through my infertility journey and it was a wonderful outlet. Now, I am back ready to try again to blog about parenting, working, dieting, marriage and family. I want this to be a place to journal the amazing growth of our two sons and hopefully a place I can network and gather advice from other mom bloggers as I go. The facts:
Me: 37, soon to be 38, battled infertility for years, got pregnant with Jake after 4 fresh IVF's and 1.5 frozen cycles. At this point, they said it would take science to get me pregnant again so the Mr. and I didn't worry about prevention. Low and Behold, Will came along when Jake was 13 months old. Forever blessed and amazed this happened. I hold a senior management position with a software company and I need to lose 40 pounds of which most I gained trying to get pregnant, not actually being pregnant (sigh). I struggle with feeling like I am doing any part of all of this at 100%, hence the title of this blog.
Hubby: 42, owns two businesses, excellent dad, who spend two days at home with the boys, also on a mission to lose weight (starting goal of 30, ultimate goal closer to 70).
Jake: 19 months old, happy, smart, witty, climbing, running, non stop monkey
Will: 5.5 months old, sweet, cuddle bug, always smiling and trying desperately to keep up with his big brother.
I hope to blog a few times a week and be entertaining. See you all soon!
